Motorhome Site
The leisure centre carpark is an authorised stop-over and service point. Set yourselves up on the banks of the river Deel for the night. Playground and walkway on site with the town just a minutes walk away.
Leisure Centre
A 25 metre swimming pool with modern gym. Get your workout in while visiting us or head into the pool where you’ll find the 25 metre big pool, a kids pool, a sauna, steam-room and jacuzzi.
The Friary
The Franciscan friary lies on the river Deel, to the north of the village of Askeaton, Co. Limerick. Open to the public during the day, this is an ideal place for all the family to soak up the history of Co. Limerick.
Tourist Office
Located in the centre of town, the folks in our tourist office will be happy to help you out in whatever way they can. Some pictures, merch and memorabilia also available as well as information on guided tours. Mon-Fri 10am to 4pm.
Fuel, Food and Stocking Up
SuperValu, Centra, The Belfry Cafe, Tasty Bite Take-Away and Star House Chinese Restaurant and Yours Sincerely Stationary & Gifts and the Post Office are all dotted conveniently dotted throughout the town.

Askeaton Market
The market in Askeaton is active every Friday morning. You’ll find everything from fresh vegetables and fish to coffee and cakes.
Askeaton Contemporary Art
Established in 2006, Askeaton Contemporary Arts Group produce and exhibit fascinating works all over the town. Constantly expanding and creating new and insightful ways of communicating their work, Askeaton Contemporary Art can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Askeaton-Ballysteen Tennis Club
We’re very proud to have a newly rebuilt state-of-the-art tennis court. Membership is very reasonable and offers student and family rates.
Askeaton Running Group
Askeaton Running Group meet every Wednesday at 6:15pm in the leisure centre car park. This is an open and friendly group and all are welcome to join! Find them on Facebook.
Askeaton Castle & Hellfire Club
Situated in the heart of the town, you’ll find Askeaton Castle & Hellfire Club. The site is currently undergoing conservation works but guided tours are available. Tours begin at 10am, 11:30am, 13:30pm and 15:00pm.
