Askeaton is believed to be the oldest town in county Limerick and is situated on the river Deel. There’s plenty of heritage to see and plenty of medieval sites to explore. Askeaton’s location makes visiting the rest of what west Limerick has to offer so easy. Neighbouring towns and villages offer a plethora of restaurants, trails, forrest walks, viewing points and so much more.
